We provide recreational sports and leisure opportunities for youths and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other special needs, free of charge.

​

Your contribution will help our organization continue to provide these programs at no cost to the players and families with special needs in our community. 

​

We have over 250 families with special needs members that participate in our programs. We provide the non-competitive sports of Buddy Ball Baseball during the spring, Kickin' It with Buddies Kickball in the fall, and both Fishing with Buddies near shore charter boat fishing and Riding with Buddies horseback riding in the spring and fall. In the summer we offer canvas painting at the Twisted Canvas art studio and Ship Island boat sunset cruises. In December we have a Sensory Santa experience which allows families to get their picture with Santa Claus in a controlled, quiet setting.  

 

We also utilize over 300 volunteers throughout the year to help us make all this possible.

 

2025 is our 16th year for providing free, recreational sports and leisure opportunities for youths and adults with special needs.  We started in 2010 simply as Buddy Ball before establishing the 501(c)(3) MS Gulf Coast Buddy Sports, Inc. in 2015.

 

Our organization is all-volunteer. We depend on local individuals and businesses for generous financial and in-kind donations as well as corporate grants to make all of this happen.
